Motorcycle Show and Shine

‘The Motorcycle Show and Shine’ for October 3 and 4 of 2009 is presented by the Grey-Bruce Motorcycle Touring Club which is a non-profit service group. This event is held in conjunction with Pumpkinfest. An antique & classic car show that attracts approximately 1000 cars is also part of the Pumpkinfest attractions.

This year we will have our own registration booth set up near the Royal Canadian Legion building on Bricker Street, Port Elgin. You may enter the bike area from the corner of Green St. and Bricker St. Street bikes and cruisers will be displayed on Bricker Street.

Registration fee of $ 5.00 will allow you to park your motorcycle in our show area on Bricker Street. Your name will be entered in a draw for door prizes on Saturday.

All types of motorcycles are welcome. We are not a bike specific club.

Show times for bikes is between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. on Saturday . Awards for Show and Shine will be presented on Saturday at 2-3 pm. Door prizes will be drawn on Saturday at 2-3 pm. Vehicle gates will be open at 8:30 A.M.

Fall Colour Ride

Our Fall Colour Run will be Sept. 19 – 20.
Leaving from Tim Horton’s on Brock Road in
Guelph near the 401 (old Hwy #6). Get your
morning coffee & gas up to leave at 8:00AM
SHARP. We will be crossing at Queenston.
Hope to arrive at Springville at 4:30PM

Fall Colour Ride

Our Fall Colour Run will be Sept. 19 – 20.
Harold has reserved a block of rooms for
Sept.19 at the Microtel Hotel in Springville,
New York (not very far from Ellicottville). The
room rates are : Single Queen = $71.10 + tax,  Double Queen =
$80.10 + tax. Rooms are available in smoking
or non-smoking, please state which you prefer.
The rooms will only be held until
August 19, so don’t wait

GRAND BEND MOTORPLEX WEEKEND

Our plan for attending the races at Grand Bend were washed out on Sunday. There was a torrential downpour during the meeting.

The tickets can be used this coming weekend. Maybe we will try again next year.  Laurie

Marilyn’s Birthday Party

On Saturday May 2nd Wayne held a Birthday party for Marilyn at the Damascus Hall.  (39 again)
